This year’s Spring Sewing Retreat is happening April 30–May 3, 2026, at the Seabeck Conference Center. Come and enjoy four days of sewing and fun–no cooking or cleaning required–with old friends, make some new friends, and create your projects in a lovely setting. We’ll be sewing and sleeping in comfort in the Pines Building once again.

The retreat is open to participants of all skill levels, whether you want to tackle those UFOs or start new projects. It’s a great chance to get help from experienced sewers and learn new techniques. Need advice on fitting, pattern alterations, or machine troubleshooting? There’s always someone ready to help.

The Pines Building has an elevator, all rooms are handicap accessible, and each has its own private bathroom. Most shared rooms have two queen beds, a queen and a single bed, or two queens and a single. The eight single rooms each have one queen bed. More information can be found at Seabeck Conference Center. Meals, served family style in the dining hall, are included in the cost; and will include lunch and dinner on Thursday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Friday and Saturday; and breakfast and lunch before the retreat ends on Sunday at 1:00pm. The special dietary requests that can be accommodated are listed on the online registration form. Make your selection if applicable to you.

Will you be a first-time attendee? Recommend bringing your preferred sewing machine and supplies, comfortable clothing, and a few pre-cut and ready-to-sew projects. Each attendee will have a dedicated six-foot table, and a cutting table and irons/ironing boards will be available. A helpful checklist suggesting what to bring will be provided to registered participants closer to the event. Don’t hesitate to reach out to returning participants for packing tips or questions about the schedule–everyone is happy to help you feel welcome and prepared!

·      ASG Member, shared room double occupancy: $510

·      ASG Member, single occupancy (if available): $574

·      Non-ASG Member, shared room double occupancy: $570

·      Non-ASG Member, single occupancy (if available): $634

Non-members also have the option to join ASG for $60, then register for the retreat at the member rate ($510 for double occupancy) – use this link to Join ASG. If you are a new ASG member or a member from another chapter, please provide your ASG Member ID number when registering.

Space is limited, so don’t delay! If sharing a room, please identify a roommate on the online registration form or one can be chosen for you. Single occupancy rooms are limited.

Members with Silver Certificates may apply them toward the registration fee at time of payment by following instructions on the online form.

Refund Policy: In accordance with our Chapter Standing Rules, refunds for this event are only given under the following circumstances: 1) the event is cancelled; 2) the Chapter is not charged for member non-attendance/participation; or 3) there is a person on a waiting list who may attend in place of the original attendee.
